Update on services at the West Cheshire Autism Hub during summer 2022

We wanted to provide a quick update to let you know that the West Cheshire Autism Hub will now be closing for part of the summer and reopening on Tuesday 30 August following the bank holiday weekend, providing us with an opportunity to put exciting plans in place and continue improving our offer for autistic adults and their families.

Since the Autism Hub launched virtually in the summer of 2020 and we opened our doors at The Bluecoat in early 2021, our services have been in high demand and we’ve worked tirelessly to develop our offer in line with what our members want.

Once we reopen, we plan for Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) NHS Foundation Trust to be based at The Bluecoat two days a week, offering its autism diagnostic service, while all Autism Hub activities and counselling sessions and services delivered by other partners will resume.

While our base at The Bluecoat will be closed during this period, you can continue accessing our website as there’s plenty of useful information about support you can receive in the local community.

We work closely with many amazing partners and a key part of our role at the Autism Hub is signposting our members to other services should we not be able to support you directly with anything in particular.

We’d like to thank all our members and partners for their continued support and wish you all an enjoyable summer.

We look forward to welcoming you back after our short break.
